Recently, the MYUAV FC30 mooring UAV successfully completed a key verification of extreme endurance —— it was able to fly continuously for 24 hours under full mooring power supply.
The following is the record of the key nodes of the whole process of this strict test:
- Test preparation phase (Morning of June 17th):
At the designated test site, the technical team completed the erection and debugging of MYUAV FC30 UAV system, special ground tethered power supply equipment and monitoring ground station to ensure the normal status of each system.
- Take-off and test start (1 6:45):
The FC30 UAV is connected to the ground power supply through the tether cable, takes off smoothly to the predetermined hover height, and the official timing of 24-hour uninterrupted endurance test begins.
- Continuous monitoring phase:
Day (1 6:45-18:00):
The technical team closely monitored the flight attitude of the UAV, the temperature of the power system, the tension of the tether and the quality of the transmission signal. The UAV kept stable hover, and all parameters were within the safety threshold.
Night (18:00-06:00 the next day):
The shift duty was carried out. Under the night environment, through continuous observation by the ground station, the navigation light of the UAV worked normally, the attitude was stable, and there was no abnormal drift. The key period (such as 2:00 a.m.) showed that the system was running smoothly.
Approaching target time (next day 16:15):
In the last half hour of the test, the drone remained in good condition with no signs of performance decay.
Achieving the milestone and landing (16:45 the next day):
When the timer showed full 24 hours, the FC30 UAV landed smoothly at the take-off point according to the command, and the core goal was achieved.
Test End and preliminary inspection (immediate landing):
The technical team conducted preliminary appearance and basic function inspection on the UAV body, rotor, mooring cable interface and mission payload after landing, and found no obvious abnormality or damage.
- Key points:
The continuous support system ensures the stability of the tethered power supply, the continuous operation of the mission load (test camera), and the clear transmission of the picture.
- Test in high temperature and strong wind environment (14:00 the next day):
On the afternoon of the test day, the test site encountered challenging meteorological conditions with a high temperature of about 36 degrees Celsius and gusts up to 11.8m/s. Under such harsh conditions, real-time data showed that the FC30 UAV kept normal operation status and stable hover position.
The successful completion of a 24-hour full tethered continuous flight fully validates the extreme reliability and stability of MYUAV FC30 UAVs under sustained energy supply. This capability provides robust technical support and broad practical prospects for demanding scenarios requiring long-duration, large-scale, and uninterrupted drone operations, such as emergency communication support, border patrols, security monitoring for major events, and wide-area disaster monitoring.
