Myuav MESH tether drone system air-to-ground 108 km distance test
The Myuav MESH tether drone system successfully completed a 108-kilometer air-to-ground wireless communication distance test, demonstrating its technical strength and promoting industry development.
The test is designed to obtain link performance data such as signal strength, latency and loss rate, while measuring bandwidth at different distances to support applications such as high-definition video.
The test locations include Miaofeng Mountain in Mentougou District and Jinhai Lake in Pinggu District, Beijing, simulating various environmental challenges. The SDR-A2-20W radio used shows flexibility and stability, and can communicate in different environments through vehicle-mounted and backpack modes.
1: Test target: According to customer requirements, obtain link quality and transmittable service bandwidth data when the air-to-ground communication distance is 108KM.
2: Test environment: Point 1 is located in Miaofeng Mountain, Mentougou District, Beijing, and point 2 is located in Jinhai Lake, Pinggu District, Beijing. The straight-line distance between the two places is 108 kilometers.
The picture above shows two test points. The map shows that the distance is 108 kilometers.
Figure 1 is the on-site map at the starting point of the map, and Figure 2 is the on-site map at the end point.
1. Figure 1 shows the radio model SDR-A2-20W vehicle-mounted backpack type used at test point 1 located in Miaofeng Mountain, Mentougou District, Beijing.
2. Figure 2 shows the test point No. 2 placed on a soil slope in Jinhai Lake, Pinggu District, Beijing. The bracket is used to erect the height of about 2 meters. The radio model SDR-A2-20W is used.

Three: Test method
Place the SDR-A2-20W vehicle-mounted backpack-type self-organizing network radio at points 1 and 2, use the same 8dbi antenna gain, and adjust the corresponding directions after turning it on.
After checking that the link quality reaches a stable value, perform a packet filling check to obtain the service rate.
Four: Test results
The two SDR-A2-20W radio stations are 108 kilometers apart, and the link between the two radio stations is 14/7. The peak rate of the service bandwidth that can be transmitted between them is 9.48Mbs@10MHz.
The average speed is 7.16Mbps.
