Phased array radar: "anti-entanglement" survival experiment under strong wind

Flying in complex urban environments, drones are most afraid of getting "entangled" by obstacles such as power lines and tree branches. The MYUAV dualtethered high-altitude UAV fire-fighting system uses the DJI FC100 drone, which has a multi-sensor obstacle avoidance system, a powerful shield to this challenge:

1. Lidar: Precise "scanning" of fine wires. Like a precision scanner, it can accurately capture the contours of small obstacles such as and thin branches that are difficult to detect with traditional vision, especially in poor lighting conditions, providing the first line of defense against entanglement.

2.Millimeter-wave radar: A "seeing eye" that penetrates rain and wind. High-altitude firefighting operations are often accompanied by rain fog. The millimeter-wave radar has strong penetration and is less affected by them. Its core phased array technology allows it to detect quickly and over long distances without turning, it can also stably lock the position and distance of obstacles such as buildings and tree trunks in the wind, providing reliable long-range early warning, greatly reducing the risk of-speed collision or entanglement.

3.Five-camera vision system: Intelligent "recognition" of the environment. Five cameras provide a broad field of view, intelligently recognizing dynamic objectssuch as birds in flight) and complex ground environments (such as windows, billboards), achieving fine avoidance and intelligent detours at close range under good lighting.
